On March 26th, the Province of NL announced the new First Time Homeowners plan with assistance available to individuals who are purchasing a property for the first time. Qualifications are that income has to be below $75,000 for maximum support, purchase price up to $250,000 and a Pre-Approval from a lender is required. The program is limited to 100 participants, so we expect, given the demand that exists, this quota will be used very quickly. You will need to be ready to apply as soon as possible, in order to take advantage of this opportunity.
